The legendary Travnik-based ćevapi restaurant “Hari” needs no special introduction – for over three decades, it has been a symbol of top-notch flavor and traditional quality that attracts guests from all over the region. But even the best can get better – with the right technology.

In collaboration with the Monri team and the Remaris solution, Hari has taken an important step toward modernizing its operations. The key challenge was to speed up communication between waitstaff and the kitchen so that orders could be delivered faster without unnecessary waiting or delays.

The solution?

  • Two main cash registers and handheld terminals (Orderman devices) were installed, enabling waiters to take orders directly at the table – without extra walking and wasted time.
  • A kitchen display was set up to show all orders in real-time, making it much easier for the kitchen staff to organize and prepare food.

“The idea behind the cooperation between Remaris and Hari was to speed up and simplify the process between order taking and communication with the staff preparing the food,” explains Voislav Zdravković, Monri HoReCa Business Development Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“That’s why, in addition to two main registers for the waiters, we installed Orderman handheld terminals – to cover the entire space and reduce the need for walking around. This way, orders can be sent directly from the table.”

But that’s not where digitalization stopped – it continued into the kitchen as well.

“We installed a kitchen display for the food prep staff so that orders would reach them more quickly. We also created a group view of the orders, allowing them to instantly see what needs to be prepared at any given time – making order control even easier,” adds Zdravković.

The result: Faster service, better team coordination, and even more satisfied guests – because Hari ćevapi deserve to be served without the wait!
